E-Form DIR–6 is the form for providing the intimation of change in particulars of Director to the Central government within 30 days of the change in particulars as per Rule 12(1) of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014.

A company can intimate changes among Managing Director, Directors, Manager and Secretary of a company by filing eForm DIR-12 with Registrar of Companies (ROC) within 30 days (Event date + 30 days) from the date when such change takes place.

1. Download Form DIR-6 form www.mca.gov.in.
2. File form DIR-6.
3. Attach in form DIR-6, self attested documents as proof of change in particulars like eg if there is change in address then you need to attach following documents- PAN card.

Is it possible to change the details in an existing Director Identification Number (DIN)? Yes, after obtaining the DIN/DPIN the information which has been mentioned while obtaining the DIN/DPIN may change from time to time with respect to an Email ID, change in address, Change in name, etc.
